Katherine began her dance training at Victorain Ballet School in 1992 when she was five years old. She studied classical ballet, jazz/funk, contemporary, character and later on studied tap.
Katherine then started the student teaching program in 1998, which she found very rewarding, receiving the ‘Student Teacher Encouragement Award’ in 2004.
Katherine completed units 1 and 2 in VCE Dance.
In 2005 began teaching Classical and Jazz/Funk at Victorian Ballet School.
Katherine often attends dance workshops such as the international LA Dance Force, and is still attending classical ballet and jazz/ funk lessons in an intermediate level at Victorian Ballet School.
Katherine quotes- “You can dance anywhere, even if only in your heart”. She is currently studying a dual diploma of event management and hospitality at Box Hill College of Tafe.
