MELISSA YOUNG

Melissa started her dance training at the age of 5 with the ‘Pat Miller School of Dance’ (TAAD). She completed several TAAD exams in Tap, Jazz, joining the Victorian Ballet School in 2000, at the age of 12.

Melissa has completed Laurel Martyn Dance System (LMDS) exams, and whilst in senior school underwent the student teaching program. Melissa won best Student Teacher Award in 2004.

Whilst Melissa was studying VCE she completed units 1-4 in VCE Dance. and as a student at East Doncaster Secondary College, choreographed numerous school productions. An opening act to most Talent Quests. Melissa excells in Tap,

Melissa is currently completing a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Monash University, with aspiration to study Law.

Melissa teaches; classical ballet, jazz/funk, contemporary, and tap.
